Cameron Bullen

Cameron Bullen is a MSc student in the Institute for Resources, Environment, and Sustainability (IRES) at the University of British Columbia (UBC). Cameron is broadly interested in marine conservation, marine ecology, and changing ecosystem dynamics in the context of ecosystem function and contribution to people. Cameron’s current research explores how kelp forest structure, function, and associated services have been affected by species extinctions. Cameron is also an Ocean Leaders fellow.

Before beginning at IRES in 2018, Cameron worked on marine protected areas (MPAs) with CPAWS-BC, conducted research on plankton adaptation to changing environments with Dr. Michelle Tseng, and worked as an environmental biologist with Azimuth Consulting Group.
